Livin Farms is a Vienna-based agrifoodtech company that builds ready-to-go industrial insect farming modules called Hive PRO factories, helping customers turn organic waste into insect protein for food and feed. The company was incorporated in 2018 and is led by founder and CEO Katharina Unger, a pioneer in the waste-to-protein industry since 2012. Its team combines expertise in biology, production and technology to shortcut the lengthy and expensive process of setting up an insect farming operation.
