Blockpit is a Linz-based crypto tax and portfolio compliance platform, founded in 2017 as one of Europe's earliest crypto tax regulation trailblazers. Its tools include a crypto tax calculator, portfolio tracker, tax optimizer, and source-of-funds reporting, generating more than 1 million tax reports for over 350,000 customers across Austria, Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and other markets. Legally Blockpit AG, the company made two acquisitions in 2020 and 2023 to expand its European crypto compliance footprint and is led by co-founders Florian Wimmer (CEO), Gerd Karlhuber (CFO), Magnus Berchtold (CPO), and Tom Buchsteiner (CTO).
